Substitute for stainless steel tube, Replace electroplating tube, Reduce material cost & Perfect finished
The stainless-clad steel tube (also called as stainless/carbon steel complex tube) is a cladding (not electroplating) layer of stainless steel outside the carbon steel tube to form a two-layer tube. The external layer (stainless steel) is for the antirust and decoration purposes and the internal layer (carbon steel) is the main part for support. The SUS304 (other classification also) stainless steel and SPHC hot rolled or SPCC cold rolled carbon steel are used for the manufacture of stainless-clad steel tube.
The stainless-clad steel tube features the good-looking surface and corrosion-resistant of stainless steel and the high rigidity and lower price of carbon steel. Excepting substitute for stainless steel tube, the stainless-clad steel tube has been replacing the electroplating tube progressively due to the trend of environmental protection (the electroplating process will causes serious water pollution).
